Mumbai: The CBI has informed the Bombay high court that it has registered an FIR regarding identical grievances raised in a petition filed by activist Prataplal Teli over alleged unauthorized credit given by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation to Kingfisher Airlines.
The petition filed through advocate Aditya Pratap had alleged that the credit caused "a huge pecuniary loss to the corporation, which in turn was an offence of Criminal Misconduct by a Public Servant under the Prevention of Corruption Act."
