Raipur: Notwithstanding the widespread criticism of the "law makers" demanding VVIP treatment from private airlines, it's now the turn of Chhattisgarh industrialists to demand some special privileges for themselves at the Raipur Airport.
A special lounge "to facilitate its members and office bearers" forms part of the wish list of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), whose representatives met up with the officials of the Raipur airport here. The meeting, between the representatives of the CII and the airport management, was called to "understand and gather inputs regarding the beautification of the airport; infrastructure development; air cargo movement; proposals for Restaurants and Food Park; availability of taxis and buses".
According to a press release issued by the CII, it's members suggested for setting up a CII Lounge at airport for the convenience of the industrialists.
