Mumbai: With only a week to go for Mumbai airport's new terminal T2 to be commissioned, the CISF has started the job of securing the building, a job done in a phase-wise manner.
"The CISF personnel started moving in on February 1. They have been security clearing blocks after blocks, floors after floors," said a source. "It is a major job as the airport is new and so they have to map it, look out for places where security could be compromised, take its design, the flow of passenger traffic, etc into consideration," the source added.
So every air-conditioning duct, doors, pathways, corridors, underground pipes, etc are being cleared in a process called security sweeping.
