Madurai: Air travellers in the city are keen to benefit from the discounted fares announced by domestic airline operators.
With lean season ahead, all airliners in Madurai have announced 50% discount on fares on all domestic sector, though with conditions. The discounts will be based on seat availability and is available for bookings from January 31 to February 2. Flyers can avail the journey after a month, but within April 15. The offer is applicable only for direct flights between two destinations.
S Ramachandran, a city resident, has already planned a trip to Hyderabad along with his family. "I am planning to book the tickets for my family to avail the discount. It is a great opportunity to enjoy the air travel which is otherwise unaffordable for the ordinary public," he commented.
