Chandigarh: All the 14 flights operating from Chandigarh were cancelled on Friday due to low visibility caused by dense fog. No flights from any destinations between Delhi and Mumbai could land or take off.
Among the cancelled flights were JetKonnect (India) 2652 from Chandigarh to Delhi; Jet Airways (India) 2652 from Chandigarh to Delhi; Jet Airways 7076 from Chandigarh to Delhi; Spice Jet 2112 from Chandigarh to Delhi; Go Air 382 from Chandigarh to Mumbai; Air India 863 from Chandigarh to Delhi; Jet Airways 467 from Chandigarh to Mumbai; JetKonnect 5082 from Chandigarh to Mumbai; JetAirways 2658; IndiGo 463 from Chandigarh to Mumbai; and Spice Jet 2116 from Chandigarh to Delhi.
As the flights were cancelled, the passengers had to suffer at the hands of some of the airline operators who failed to inform them about the status of the flights.
