Mnagalore: Officers of Customs at Mangalore International Airport (MIA) seized one gold buckle set and two gold rods, totally weighing 1022.07 grams and valued at Rs 30.91-lakh concealed as leather belt buckle and inside hair styling crimper set in a suitcase from a passenger who arrived at MIA on board Air India Express flight IX 814 from Dubai on Thursday at 7.25am.
The gold was seized from Sheminadh Puthen Purayil, resident of Shamnad Manzil, Paral post office, Kuthuparamba in Kannur.
