Kingfisher Airlines provides Rs.2 lakh relief to staffer in distress

New Delhi: This had never happened for months. No amount of pleading or complaints or protest helped. Employees staged dharna, resorted to hunger strike, wrote to various agencies, tweeted Mallya, pleaded the management but nothing worked. It looked as if everything had run dry. But then the unthinkable happened. Kingfisher Airlines management woke up for a change from its deep slumber. Just hours after Headlines Today aired the story of a Kingfisher Airlines Airport manager in Ahmedabad running from pillar to post to help gather funds to cure his Thyroid Cancer the management showed up its little seen human side. KFA employee union informed Headlines Today by Saturday noon that the aired story had worked big time for the employee and the KFA management had transferred Rs. 2 lakh in the account of this Airport Manager in Ahmedabad. The Union was happy to the core that the management woke up for atleast one staffer at the time of his deep crisis.
