Imphal: BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi would travel by helicopter from Tulihal International Airport to the meeting venue at Langjing Achouba in Imphal West during his election campaign here on February 8 .
According to a reliable source, Modi earlier planned to travel by road along with a large motorcade from the airport to Langjing Achouba Play Ground.
However, the State Transport Department has instructed the BJP to find an alternative way for his travel in order to avoid heavy traffic jam at Imphal City.
