Lucknow: A SpiceJet flight from Kolkata to Delhi made an emergency landing at Amausi airport after a passenger died on board on Thursday morning. According to reports, flight (SG-608) took off from Kolkata at around 7.30am with about 100 passengers and six crew members on board.
A passenger, Vivek Valecha (40), complained of chest pain an hour after the take off, sources quoting passengers on board said. Valecha went to the aircraft's washroom where he collapsed. The crew members brought him out of the washroom even as the pilots contacted the air traffic control (ATC) at Lucknow airport for emergency landing.
