Chennai: Sparks from crackers, which were burst by the airport authorities to scare away birds at the airport here today, fell into an oil can, leading to a minor fire, airport sources said.
The incident happened at Bay no 62 at the Domestic airport and five planes were parked in nearby bays, sources said.
