Mysore: SpiceJet, which had suspended its Bangalore-Mysore flights in October, resumed the service on Saturday.
SpiceJet, which had operated flights between Chennai and Mysore, now rescheduled the ATR flight that will fly via Bangalore.
The flight that will take off at Chennai Airport at 1.30 pm will reach Mysore at 2.30 pm. It will depart Mysore at 4.30 pm and reach Chennai at 5.30 pm.
MP A H Vishwanath said this would boost tourism and meet the prolonged demand of IT giants like Infosys and Wipro, industrialists and hoteliers.
