New Delhi: The Airports Authority of India Employees Union (AAEU) has said that it is completely opposed to a move by the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation to fast track the privatisation of six major airports.
In a letter to the government and the Planning Commission of India, AAEU general secretary B.S. Ahlawat said that the since the Election Commission's Model Code of Conduct (MCC) is currently in force, the civil aviation ministry must not go ahead with the privatisation move.
