Aerocity buildings a security threat for Delhi's IGI airport

New Delhi: Even though the security agencies and the government are pretty comfortable with the chain of luxury hotels coming up in the vicinity of the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport but the fact is these hotels remain a potential threat to the property at the airport and the safety of hundreds of passengers.
Sources say the CISF, NSG along with other airport agencies are keeping a tight vigil in the wake of general threats received of disruption at airport and attacks on the politicians by terror groups. The task to man the airport now rests on CISF and the task to man the outer side of the airport on the Delhi Police. But are security agencies even aware that danger is staring on their face?
The controversial Aerocity Project underway near the Airport was our biggest concern. Security officials told us that there were security guards at every entry and exit points and there is no entry to any of the buildings without prior permission and ID cards and off course no one except engineers and card holder workers are allowed on roof tops. That sounded good but we still wanted to check.
