GoAir flight delayed because of alleged rat sighting

Mumbai: A GoAir flight from Delhi to Mumbai was delayed by two hours after a passenger told the flight attendants that he had seen a rodent on board the aircraft. At the time of this story going live, the aircraft was still under search and it was not known whether the supposed rodent sighting was a false alarm.
The passengers of Flight G8340, which was scheduled for a 5.45pm departure were then moved to another aircraft. "We were on board the aircraft and the doors were locked when the cabin crew announced that the departure has been delayed because of a technical problem," said Pramod Sisodia, one of the passengers on board the said flight.
"When we inquired with the flight attendants, they said that one of the passengers had complained to the crew about having spotted a rat on board the flight," he said.
