Kuala Lumpur:The German insurance company Allianz has revealed that it has made the initial payments in the case of the missing MH 370. Hugo Kidston, who is the global communications head for Allianz said that the Munich-based insurance company, along with other co-insurers of the Malaysian aviation "hull and liability policy" have made the initial payments. He further informed that the insurance was granted on the basis of normal market policies and contractual obligations when a flight is reported missing. He, however, refrained from revealing the insurance amount that was granted and the persons who received it.
