Volvo Cars launches Lounge at Delhi Airport

Kolkata: Swedish luxury carmaker Volvo Auto India on Wednesday launched its first exclusive Lounge and also showcased the new generation S80 at the Terminal 3 Domestic Departure, Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.
The Lounge is located at the entry of the departure concourse next to the information desk, spread over an area of 925 sq ft having a true Scandinavian luxury experience.
It focuses at the discerning travelers, helping them relax before boarding a flight and at the same time informing the customers about the pioneering concepts designed at Volvo Cars.
The Lounge comes with exclusive Volvo Retail Experience (VRE). Volvo carlines would be on public display at the lounge entrance accessible for all the travelers. However, the entry into the Lounge would be only ‘by invitation’. Platinum and Gold cards respectively for Volvo customers and VIP guests.
The New Generation Volvo S80, showcased at the Lounge, features the concept of Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection with full auto brake. The D5 summum gives a class-leading fuel consumption of 14.69 kms/ltr. It is available in D4 and D5 diesel engine, priced at Rs 41.35 lacs and Rs 44.80 lacs respectively (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
