Pune: Alert house-keeping employees at the Lohegaon airport found a pouch containing foreign and Indian currencies totally worth over Rs 2.5 lakh, a passport and credit cards, which a foreign-bound hotel management student had inadvertently left at her seat in the security hold prior to boarding her flight to Delhi around Thursday noon.
The employees returned the pouch to senior airport officials, who later summoned the student's mother, a resident of Dhayari, at the airport to return her belongings.
Airport director Manoj Kumar Gangal told TOI, "The passenger, Nupur Santosh Bhore, was waiting for her Indigo flight 6E-102 from Pune to Delhi, which was scheduled at 11.45am. She boarded the flight but forgot her pouch on the seat in the security hold."
