Bhopal: Chief Electoral Officer Jaideep Govind chaired a meeting on revised standard norms for checking cash and valuables in aircraft and helicopters at state hangars and airports.
It was directed that standard norms should be observed during checking of private and government aircrafts and helicopters as per directives of Election Commission. As per commission' directive, VVIPs and officers exempted from these norms can enter and exit. All other passengers and their luggage will come from main gate of airport. The officers were directed to ensure compliance of directives issued on September 4, 2008 by Civil Aviation Security Bureau regarding exemption given to VIPs and officers.
