Bhubaneswar: A team of eight income tax (I-T) officers are keeping a strict vigil on flyers and use of choppers and small aircraft for election purposes at Biju Patnaik Airport here.
The team is part of the air intelligence unit and it will apprise Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Mona Sharma of any passenger carrying excess money or gold. The airport authorities have provided a space for the unit to function.
