Vizinagaram: Announcing several sops to the people, Telugu Desam Party supremo Nara Chandrababu made a whirlwind tour of Vizianagaram district covering Bobbili, Parvathipuram, Gajapatinagaram and Vizianagaram Assembly constituencies on Thursday.
Naidu, as a part of his party election campaign, addressed several public meetings and conducted roadshows. Mentioning local problems, Naidu assured people that the TDP government would solve all the pending problems and his only government could develop Seemandhra.
Soon after coming into the government, Naidu said he would take up construction of an airport between Srikakulam and Vizianagaram and development of an Industrial Growth Corridor at Bobbili and an old age home in each district. He will provide one job to each family and `5 meal to all the weaker sections, he said. He also promised that his government would sanction housesites and also construct houses at a cost of `1.5 lakh each.
