Tiruchi: About 6 kilos of gold attempted to be smuggled in through the Tiruchi Airport were seized by officials of the Customs Air Intelligence Unit on Friday.
According to sources, the seizures were made in three cases. In the first instance, about 424 grams of gold concealed in the handle of a trolley bag by a passenger, Mohamed Haneefa, who arrived here from Kuala Lumpur was seized.
