AirAsia to put $20 mn more in Indian airline venture

Mumbai: AirAsia will invest an additional $20 million (Rs 119 crore) in its Indian airline venture this year, a senior executive said on Monday.
The Malaysian low fare carrier has already invested $10 million in AirAsia India, the executive said. The next round of investment will come in a couple of months, he added.
AirAsia's board met in Mumbai on Thursday at the office of Tata Sons, one of its Indian shareholders.
