Indore: Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport will have domestic cargo facility to help people send their goods within India by the end of 2014.
Airport director RS Shinde said, "We had international cargo facility so far but with domestic cargo, transporting medicines, food products and agricultural products will become easier."
The airport authorities have already spoken to airlines willing to transport cargo. "The airline has told us how much goods they can load and on that basis we have drafted our tender," Shinde added.
Meanwhile, airport authorities have started a help-desk for passengers looking at the daily nuisance taking place at the airport and nearby places. "The help-desk has a picture and phone number of the officer concerned.
