Aerobridge facility to start from July 20 at Bhopal airport

Bhopal: Passengers flying from Bhopal will no longer be required to walk down from terminal building to aircraft and vice-versa for boarding and disembarking the plane as two aerobridges will be operational at Raja Bhoj airport from July 20.
Aerobridges are being constructed by an Indonesian company.
According to in charge of electrical department at airport, Ramjee Awasthi, "First floor of airport terminal will also be operational once construction of aerobridges is complete." He added, aerobridge facility would be available only for bigger aircrafts. "They cannot be used for ATR aircrafts," he said. Presently, Air India and Jet Airways operates eight domestic flights daily from Bhopal airport.
