Vijayawada: About 60 passengers of Air India flight faced tensed moments when the flight could not land and made a few trips over Gannavaram airport on the city fringes here on Sunday evening. The pilot could not land the aircraft due to poor visibility coupled with bad weather and drizzle, Gannavaram airport authorities said.
The Vijayawada-bound Delhi Air India (544) aircraft was scheduled to land at 4.35 p.m. but due to bad weather, the pilot could not land the aircraft and made five trips over the airport for about 30 minutes.
