Chennai: Passengers staged a protest at the Chennai airport after Air India cancelled a flight to Mumbai due to a technical snag in the wee hours of Tuesday.
Air India cancelled its flight from Colombo to Mumbai via Chennai after passengers boarded the plane.
A senior airport official said the passengers protested in front of the boarding gates at 1.30am, and their protest had affected the operations of several airlines for at least 30 minutes. Some international flights had been delayed for 10-15 minutes.
