Mangalore: The officers of customs at Mangalore International Airport on Tuesday June 17 seized assorted foreign currencies worth Indian equivalent of Rs 6.70 lac possessed illicitly by a passenger.
The currencies were concealed inside personal clothing kept in a hand baggage carried by Jaleel Kunhu Kutty, a resident of Hidayath Nagar, Kasargod.
Jaleel arrived from Sharjah by Jet Airways Flight No 9W531 on Tuesday at 8 am.
