A Imphal airport would resume regular operation charter flight from June 27, source from the KB Enterprises confirmed on Thursday.
The first Singapore bound chartered flight from Imphal via Mandalay would take off on June 27.
The move came after Imphal’s Tulihal Airport was inaugurated as an international airport on November 20 last year with a charter flight of Golden Myanmar Airlines landed the airport on the same day with passengers from Myanmar.
The chartered flight between the highly developed South East Asian city and Imphal would have 69 sitting capacity.
However, operation of regular international flight was yet to be started. To start a regular charter flight at this airport, KB Enterprises, a private travel agency of Manipur has inked a deal with the Golden Myanmar Airlines between Imphal and Mandalay via Singapore on June 3.
