Ahmedabad: Passengers disembarking at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport will not have to pay for cabs to get to other terminals from Wednesday as the inter-terminus link (ITL) connecting domestic and international sections will be operational.
The ITL will operate from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm and from 4 am to 7 am.
Following a request by a private airline, SpiceJet, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has decided to begin the operations of ITL for public use. It consists of a walkalator and lift. The ITL was lying unused for the past three years due to negligible passengers in transit.
The trial run of the ITL was conducted a week back. "
