Mangalore: Spice Jet will operate an additional daily flight to Bangalore from Mangalore International Airport (MIA) from June 15.
Flight SG628 will depart from Mangalore International Airport (MIA) at 4.35pm and reach Bangalore at 5.25pm. Flight SG629 will leave Bangalore at 6.10pm and reach MIA at 7.05pm. At present, there are four daily flights daily to Bangalore - three operated by Jet Airways and one by Spice Jet.
Air India operates a smaller aircraft connecting the state capital on three days - Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This flight - an ATR that reaches here at 5.20pm from Bangalore leaves MIA at 5.50pm. Jet Airways has daily flights at 9am, 4.15pm and 8.40pm to Bangalore.
However, this airline does not operate the 4.15pm flight on Tuesdays. Spice Jet flight to Bangalore leaves MIA at 9.05am, J T Radhakrishna, director, MIA said.
