Dibrugarh: The shortcomings in the passengers’ facilities at the New Terminal Building of the airport here, which was brought to the notice of the Airports Authority of India by a few local social activists and reported in The Assam Tribune, have been partially looked into as this correspondent found cleaner toilets, lounges and also better cooling inside the building today, thanks to the centralized AC being put to the maximum by the authorities concerned.
The immediate response of the AAI to these issues has been lauded by the leading citizens here.
Nabajyoti Borkakoty, social activist and teacher at the Oil India HS School of Duliajan said that maintenance of the airport is a must.
