What's New: Fine dining on Air India

Air India’s recent tie-up with Star Alliance will result in an innovative dining experience for passengers, courtesy Taj SATS, which has rich experience of catering for airlines including All Nippon Airways, Singapore Airlines and Air China. To give first- and business-class passengers a superior on-board dining experience, well-known Chef Satish Arora, Director-Food Production, Taj SATS has developed a special table set-up, instead of the traditional catering set-up. Starting 11th July, first-class passengers onboard Air India’s flights to London and the US, could choose anything from the menu; dishes will be presented to them as a buffet on a trolley. On the other hand, business class passengers can choose one dish from each category–starters, main course, dessert and drinks– which the flight attendant will serve them on a plate.
