Navi Mumbai: City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) has received 85 consent letters from the airport PAPs till July 23, the cut-off date. These are in response to the compensation, rehabilitation and resettlement package offer by Cidco. Out of them, 45 consent letters have been cleared for plot allotments in Pushpak Nagar, with the first draw scheduled on August 15.
Cidco's joint MD, V Radha said, "We have different cut-off dates and got around 85 letters. However, after section 9 enquiry by state land acquisition officer (SLAO) and approval by the collector and Konkan Divisional commissioner, the final list of eligible persons will be given to Cidco. All letters may not be cleared, as there may be objections by other parties."
On Friday, the first lottery for plot allotments at Pushpak Nagar will be conducted at Cidco Bhavan.
