Tele rickshaw stand proposed at Indore airport

Indore: If all goes well, Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport may soon become the first airport in country to have an auto rickshaw stand. That will facilitate easy cost-effective transport from the airport till your destination in city.
As of now, only cabs are available for conveyance.
Atal Indore City Transport Services Ltd (AICTSL) has recently sent a proposal to Indore airport director seeking space for the tele auto rickshaws to operate.
"A detailed report of their project is still awaited. Once we receive it, we will forward the same to Airport Authority of India. If approved, it will be first of its kind case. Nowhere else they have such auto-rickshaw counter and stand at airport," said director, airport, RN Shinde adding that the existing norms will have to be tweaked in order to accommodate the same on airport premises.
