Air India to provide free passage to tourists trapped in Srinagar

New Delhi: Air India has decided to provide free passage back to tourists trapped in the flood-affected Srinagar. The decision was announced after a meeting chaired by Cabinet Secretary Ajit Seth and attended among others by senior Civil Aviation Ministry officials.

Earlier in the day, Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju had said two Air India aircraft had been pulled out of regular services from Kolkata and deployed for Srinagar.
