Help desk at Delhi airport to help Biharis trapped in J&K floods

Patna:  The state government with the help of union ministry of civil aviation has set up help desk at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, to help people from Bihar trapped in Jammu & Kashmir floods to reach their respective homes.
Officials at the state disaster management department (DMD) control room here said: "As per information, Biharis are safe there. We are in constant touch with all officials concerned both in New Delhi as well as in Jammu and Kashmir."
The DMD has already put up two persons, Sumit Bawa (09650597859) and Arun Behal (09910382817), at T1 and T3 of the New Delhi airport respectively.
A joint labour commissioner of Bihar Bhawan, Kumar Digvijay (01123792319), has been appointed as nodal officer to help the people of Bihar. According to the control room of the DMD here, as many as 284 people from Bihar in J&K has been traced and they are safe. Over 30 NIT, Srinagar, students from Bihar are on way to back home in Bihar.
