Siddaramaiah's chopper makes emergency landing

Hubli:  Inclement weather forced CM Siddaramaiah's helicopter to make an emergency landing at the district police ground in Raichur on Saturday.

The CM was in Raichur to take stock of the rain havoc there. The chopper took off at 5.30 pm for Gadag but after flying for 15 minutes, it had to return due to poor visibility. The CM was accompanied by agriculture minister Krishna Byre Gowda and revenue minister Srinivas Prasad and they were scheduled to reach Gadag by 6pm. All passengers were safe.
