Week long BLS training programme begins at Airport

Srinagar: Continuing its efforts to strengthen the medical emergency services, the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir in collaboration with Director Airport Authorities of India, Srinagar International Airport kick started a week long Basic Life Support (BLS) training programme at Srinagar Airport from today.
Keeping in view the strategic importance of airport and knowing the fact that the employees working there being the first responders to any disaster it was deliberated that imparting training at airport is of utmost need. The trainees will include the staff of various airlines and the employees of airport including police personal deployed there.
