Mumbai: Travelport, one of the leading travel commerce platform providing distribution, technology, payment and other solutions for the tourism industry, has announced the distribution of ancillary services and full-content agreement for Malindo Air for travel agents in India. Malindo Air is now available on Travelport GDS and can be booked by travel agents across India.
The agreement taking immediate effect enables Travelport- connected agents across the country to search, compare and book competitive fares and popular ancillaries such as checked-in bags, advanced seat selection and in-flight meals offered by the respective airlines.
Anil Parashar, president and CEO, InterGlobe Technology Quotient, official distributor of Travelport in India and Sri Lanka said, “It is an honour to be partnering with Malindo Air. Travel agents in India who are connected on Travelport’s distribution network will be able to access Malindo Air’s fares, as well as their extensive ancillary products and services. This is a significant milestone for us in providing technology to Malindo Air to distribute their content and ancillary services through our industry leading merchandising platform.”
