Nashik: The state government has decided to rent airport terminal to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) at nominal rent.
The move comes against the backdrop of HAL opposing the demand to pay rent of Rs 1 lakh per month to the government since the company stated that the terminal has been built on its land.
"The state government has told the HAL that it was willing to give the terminal to HAL at nominal rent to allow it to operate the terminal in association with private players. The issue has been conveyed to HAL and its board," said Vilas Patil, Nashik collector.
