Chennai: Love is in the air. And airlines are wooing customers by offering special Valentine’s Day offers this weekend. Such seasonal discounts increase the demand of air travel by nearly 5 per cent, said industry sources.
SpiceJet started the seasonal airfare discount titled “We Love You With All Our Heart”. This limited period all-inclusive offer starting at ?1,599 is for a travelling on February 14 and 15 on all direct flights and onward flights on SpiceJet’s domestic network.
“Valentine’s Day is all about celebrating and sharing love and here is an offer for our customers to show our love and appreciation for their loyalty and support,” said Kaneswaran Avili, Chief Commercial Officer, SpiceJet Ltd, in a release.
Air Costa on Tuesdayannounced its Valentine’s Day offer with a special discount of ?599 off on every ticket booked across its network.
