Mangaluru: About 570 gm of gold worth Rs 15.90 lakh has been seized from a passenger who arrived at the international airport here from Dubai by a Jet Airways flight, airport sources said today.
Mohammed Basheer, belonging to Kerala's Kasaragod district, was found carrying the gold hidden in a suitcase cover and was arrested by customs officials yesterday.
