Minister seeks more Mangaluru-Gulf flights

Mangaluru:  Karnataka Health Minister UT Khader has urged the Union Government to increase the number of aircraft operations from Mangalore International Airport to Gulf countries.

Khader, who met the Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju in New Delhi, told him that there is good demand for flights between Mangaluru and Gulf countries.

He requested the Minister to operate direct flights from Mangaluru to Saudi Arabia and Jeddah. More private airlines should operate flights from Mangaluru to Gulf countries, he said.
