New Delhi: Minister of State for DoNER, Dr Jitendra Singh has announced that a new direct daily flight from Delhi to Dimapur via Kolkata and back would start on April 15. He added that another daily Kolkata-Silchar-Kolkata flight has resumed services from last month.
Dr Singh was addressing the inaugural session of 64th Plenary Meeting of North Eastern Council (NEC) here yesterday.
He mentioned that three hangars had been constructed and made functional by the Airport Authority of India at Guwahati Airport with NEC support.
