Sandstorm in Gulf causes delay in flights to Mangaluru
Mangaluru: Flights from the Gulf nations to Mangaluru city were affected due to the heavy sandstorm witnessed in the Gulf region over the past few days.
On Friday April 3, Jet Airways from Dubai was delayed by about two hours. It was supposed to reach Mangaluru at 8 am, instead it landed at 10 am.
Similarly, Air India Expess flight was scheduled to land at 7.30 am, but was delayed by three hours and reached only at 10.30 am.
Air India Express flight from Dammam arrived late by two hours at 9.50 am.
