Speeding cab mows down kid at airport
Jaipur: In a bid to save an extra burden of Rs 60, a cabbie, Vijay Kumawat, after dropping a passenger at Jaipur International Airport here on Friday, apparently stepped on the gas and mowed down a three-year-old girl child, Alsiya, in a freak mishap.
The child who was waiting with his family at the arrival lounge ran towards the driveway and was run over by the cab. Kumawat has been arrested.
Alsiya, resident of Nainwa in Bundi district had come with her father Yunus Khan and other relatives to receive a guest coming from abroad on Friday evening.
