AI flight delayed over co-pilot’s oxygen mask

New Delhi: A Delhi-bound Air India flight from Chennai was delayed on Saturday by nearly one hour as the co-pilot’s oxygen mask had to be changed at the last moment.

The flight was to take off from Chennai at 5.30 p.m.

“Flight AI-539 from Chennai to Delhi was held up for about an hour as the oxygen mask for the co-pilot had to be changed at the last minute,” the source said.

When contacted, an Air India spokesperson said the delay was due to late arrival of an incoming flight.
