Chinese tycoon's plane leaves from Agartala after repair

Agartala: Chinese chartered aircraft, which had to make an emergency landing here last week with nine people, including business magnate Wang Jianlin on board, left for Kolkata on Tuesday en-route to China, officials said.

Wang, one of the world's richest men and chairman of the multi-billion-dollar Dalian Wanda group, along with three of his team members and one of the five crew member left Agartala for China by another chartered aircraft on Friday, a day after his aircraft landed here following a technical snag.

"Two days ago, Indian engineers from Delhi had repaired the plane. The light private aircraft left for Kolkata on Tuesday en-route tothe Chinese capital Beijing after Director General of Civil Aviation and other authorities gave necessary clearances," an official of the Airports Authority of India told IANS.
