Mumbai: The Air Intelligence Unit of Mumbai Customs today claimed to have seized 6.2 kgs of gold, valued at Rs 1.54 crore, in five separate cases.
In the first case, the officials apprehended Naimuddin who had arrived from Dammam in Saudi Arabia and was carrying 434 grams of gold in his rectum.
Another passenger on the same flight was found to be carrying 520 grams of gold worth Rs 12.87 lakh.
