Dubai: Air India (AI) and Air India Express (IX) will operate all flights from Dubai and Sharjah airports to Calicut International Airport in Kerala, India, on schedule. The restriction imposed by the Airport Authorities of India in Calicut will have no impact on the airlines operations, said a top official of Air India.
Air India Manager (Dubai & Sharjah), Prem Sagar, said that narrow bodied aircrafts like A321, A310, and A737 can land in Calicut Airport, despite the restrictions.
He said, “There is no restriction on operating narrow body aircrafts. Since Air India and Air India Express operate narrow body aircrafts like A321, A310 and A737 in this sector, our flights from all airports in the UAE to Calicut will operate as per the schedule.”
